๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Online: Complete the consultation online at your convenience.

๐Ÿ“•Hardcopy Form: Return the feedback form using the freepost return envelope provided or drop it off at your nearest concierge.

๐Ÿค Meet Us In Person: We're here to answer your questions, discuss the proposals, and help you with the feedback form. Join us at our drop-in events, where you can connect with the Broadwater Farm Team.

Tell us your views by 17 November

Last week to share your feedback!

    Hello,

Thank you to everyone who has given their feedback so far, we really appreciate it. This is the last week to share your feedback with us on the current section 105 consultation, which closes on Sunday 21 March.

If you have any questions or would like to speak to the team we are holding another drop in meeting on zoom tomorrow Wednesday 17 March at 6.00 - 7.30 pm . Please register to attend by clicking this link: Wednesday Zoom Drop in

Thanks to everyone who came to the last drop in. There were some great questions and useful comments. A short summary here:

  • Positive feedback about ideas for new and refurbished ground floor uses, some good reflections on the future role of the medical centre and enterprise centre on the estate, and nice ideas around a new community cafe, especially for vulnerable residents who may not be able to visit the park regularly.
  • Some questions and concerns raised about existing homes and buildings. There were also some questions and requests for more information about the number and sizes of new homes, tenure and rent levels.
  • Questions around the demolition of Tangmere and Northolt, timescales and potential impact on existing residents.
  • There are some questions that we don't have the answer to yet but which we will address as the design develops over the coming year. We will be putting together a Frequently Asked Questions to help answer your questions and queries. This will be updated regularly to ensure we add answers to questions as they become clearer.

Come along to our final session tomorrow to meet the team and ask any questions you may have!

First Community Design Group Meeting Held

The newly formed Community Design Group for the Broadwater Farm Estate came together in October for the first time. The group participated in an online Design Training workshop, delivered by The Glass-House Community-Led Design and independent external designers. The workshop focussed on exploring principles for the design of neighbourhoods and homes, helping to prepare participants to work collaboratively with the design team on the project.

An initial introductory meeting was also held between the Community Design Group and the Design Team to introduce the project. You can now view the minutes for this first meeting by clicking here .

If you would like to offer comments or feedback, or would like to be included on our mailing list to receive news and updates about the Community Design Group, please email info@bwfletstalk.co.uk.
